Today, 28 percent of waste is recycled, a rate that has almost doubled during the past 15 years. Certain specific materials, especially, have shown a great increase: paper, 42%, soft drink and beer cans, 55%, soft drink bottles 40%, etc. Today, the country has over 56,000 reuse and recycling facilities all over.
